Dr. Thomas Ulrich is a born-and-raised Oregonian who completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Oregon State University before going on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry.

Prior to founding Deschutes Eyecare, he and his wife lived in Phoenix, Arizona, where he practiced full-scope optometry for six years.

Now back in Oregon and proud to call Bend home, Dr. Ulrich enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. Other fun hobbies of his include camping, hiking, and woodworking.

He is looking forward to bringing his expertise and passion for patient care to the Central Oregon community.
